Build Your Own Adventure at the Manila Zoo

Do you love animals? Are you fond of construction toys? If so, the Manila Zoological and Botanical Garden - also known as the Manila Zoo - has a special treat for you! The 2,000-square meter zoo in Malate, Manila, recently launched its Adventure Jungle that features huge replicas of different animals - all made from Lego bricks.

At the Adventure Jungle, you'll get the chance to see and touch your favorite zoo animals taken from real and reel life. This is is not your usual exhibit of Lego toys that stand 3- to 4-inches tall. The roster of feathery and furry friends you'll find there include a six-foot high giraffe, Mr. T the tortoise, Gabby the gibbon, and Blu the macaw from the movie Rio. Let's not forget Andria, the female caretaker who looks after the animals. This fine lady is also made of Lego bricks. All in all, that's a grand exhibit of 58 different species.

There's also a place for those who want to create their own Lego toys. The activity area is full of Lego bricks where the young and young at heart can let their imagination run wild and make whatever they want.

If you love Lego and animals, be sure to drop by the Manila Zoo today and start your own adventure at the Adventure Jungle. Bring your family and friends and unleash your creativity.
