Sinfully Good Chocolate Cupcakes with Ganache Frosting
Craving for something sweet? If you love chocolate, it’s time to rejoice!
This short article will tell you how to make one of my all-time favorites: chocolate cupcakes with Ganache frosting. This sinfully good dessert is guaranteed to make your day.
Ready? Okay, here’s what you need:
To make the cupcake, prepare 2 cups of sugar, 1-3/4 cups of all-purpose flour, 3/4 cup of Hershey’s Cocoa powder, 1-1/2 teaspoons of baking powder, 1-1/2 teaspoons of baking soda, a teaspoon of salt, 2 eggs, a cup of milk, 1/2 cup of vegetable oil, 2 teaspoons of vanilla extract, and a cup of boiling water.
For the Ganache, you’ll need 100 grams (gms) of roughly chopped dark chocolate, 100 gms of heavy cream and 3 tablespoons of sugar.
Let’s start with the cupcake. Heat the oven to 350°F. Grease and flour two 9-inch round baking pans. Combine sugar, flour, cocoa, baking powder, baking soda and salt in large bowl. After stirring, add eggs, milk, oil and vanilla. Beat on medium speed using a mixer for 2 minutes. Then stir in boiling water. Next place batter into muffin cases. Bake for 30 to 35 minutes.
Now for the Ganache: scald the cream in a saucepan. Remove from flame and put all the chopped chocolate and sugar. Set aside for 5 minutes and stir everything until the chocolate has dissolved. Again set aside for an hour. By then, the mixture should have a thick spreadable consistency. Pipe it over the cupcakes and go knock yourself out!
Thanks for sharing this. I'm going to try your ganache, yey! I'm excited, hihi. :) Looks easy enough.
